Jen Schmidt

I’m a Los Angeles native who’s been living in Hawai‘i for the past 15 years, and both places heavily influence my work. I’ve been tattooing professionally for just over three years, and as a newer artist, I’m still exploring and discovering what I naturally gravitate toward stylistically. Right now, I do a bit of everything. I love the freedom of trying new techniques and styles with every piece.

Being Mexican, Chicano art has always been close to my heart. It’s the culture I grew up in and around, and it’s a big part of who I am. The fine lines, the stories, the pride, it all inspires a lot of what I do. Living in Hawai‘i has added even more depth to my work, with influences from local culture, nature, and tradition. I’m here to keep learning, keep growing, and put meaningful art into skin.
